The slab was covered in oil and grime, so we ground it back to clean, sound concrete to make sure the epoxy bonds properly. Week one was grinding. Week two was two coats of epoxy resin, the second with a P3-rated anti-slip.

Barrenjoey Marine Electrics had cracks at the main entrance, damage and months of stains, and customers had started to comment. We ground the floor back and laid a full epoxy system built for the traffic they get every day.

MEFS is Sean and his dad. Between us we have more than 20 years on the tools, and one of us is on site for every job, from the first grind to the final coat.
We started the way most trade families do: Dad on the tools, Sean sweeping up and asking questions. Years later we still work side by side, answer our own phones and quote every floor ourselves. That is why we can put a 5‑year warranty on our work.
Off the job you will find us hiking the tracks around Ku-ring-gai Chase, training early before the first site of the day, or around the table with the family on a Sunday. The same patience and discipline goes into every floor we lay.
